Minimalist. Filmmaker. Podcaster.

Matt has a YouTube channel devoted to creating habits (check out his 30-day habit building series), minimalism, and film making. He motivates me to build healthy habits but also to jump straight into the things that I'm passionate about. I love his enthusiasm for these things but also appreciate how flexible and tolerant he is to people who might not be interested in minimalism or habit building.

The Minimalists (Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus)

"Life is a series of experiments."

I couldn't agree more. Nathaniel always tries to question the current norms and ways of living, going against the tides of productivity, money, distractions, and success. He focuses on digital minimalism but also documents his slow travel process, learning a new culture, language, and way of living.

What I love most about Nathaniel is his vulnerability about his feelings and about his overwhelming thoughts (check out his video about loneliness and about God).

Joshua and Ryan taught me that minimalism doesn't have to be selling all your possessions and moving into an empty apartment. They shifted my view of minimalism by emphasizing that by getting rid of the things you don't need, you make more room for life's more important things.

I enjoy their podcasts, YouTube videos, and advice for becoming a minimalist.
